New Awnings for North Walsham’s Oldest Building

We recently completed a gorgeous job for Shambles, a fabulous café, bar and bistro located in North Walsham’s oldest building. 

Shambles trustingly handed over two 150-year-old awning boxes to us, which they had refurbished themselves to match their stunning and traditional shop front. Our job was to complete the awnings with brand new barrels and canvas using fabric Saragosse 8230 from the Dickson Fabric Collection (Gold Collection) and get the awnings back to looking and operating how they did all those years ago.

Shambles is open Wednesday to Sunday, operating as a café during the day and restaurant during the evening, serving up everything from delicious coffee and cakes to Mediterranean and Middle Eastern style dishes.
